A boat for the disabled in the heart of the Jurasic Coast

Welcome to our Gallery

Fishing for the disabled

As time has progressed Freedom began to offer disabled anglers the opportunity to take fishing trips. Type of fishing undertaken being dependant on the abilities of the angler.

In the summer of 2002 M.V.Freedom was contacted by founder member and secretary of the British Disabled Angling Association Terry Moseley to do a 'Sky Sports' TV Filming session as part of the "Tight Lines" program.

Our skipper Peter Targett took Terry Moseley and the rest of the film crew out to a location a few miles west of Portland.

A Trip out on freedom with Bradley View

Freedom!
Oh how we love our boat trips out to sea
From start to finish we savour every second
our wheelchairs are in the very place they should be
As we fall in love with our boat trip on the sea.
poised on the deck as we turn our faces from the quay
To the sun and open ocean
adventures beckon!
This is to be our most fantastic boat trip out to sea
The Freedom, the Jurassic Coast, this is the life we reckon!

Oh how we love our boat trips out to sea
Fishing, swimming, laughing, singing
The freedom, the Jurassic Coast, that's how life should be!
